Giving Orders by curiousdoodler Giving Orders by curiousdoodler
I wanted to play around with some poses so I was flipping through this website senshistock.com/sketch/ looking for a challenge pose to draw. I settled on one of the many amazing mirror shots (see stock below). The stock screamed Lily to me so I did her. Again, this is army Lily, telling people what to do. She does that a lot. Because she's a boss.

Read about Lily in my webcomic, Mountain Divide: mountaindivide.thecomicseries.…

Thanks  I can still see things that didn't work, but I am happy with how it worked out over all.

Oh yeah. Me too. That's why I wanted to practice it. I can see some mistakes just looking at the thumbnail now :faint:

I was given advice that thumbnails are your best friend. Take time while drawing to zoom out. It will help you spot mistakes you wouldn't see up close :) My program has a navigator that stays the size of a thumbnail, so I just look over at it to see if things look wonky or off centered.

I do have that thumbnail navigator in my program as well. It is very helpful!

It is! It saves me a lot lol nothing is more frightening than being hyper focused on the drawing for a long time and then finally look at the navigator....I try to make it a habit to check it when certain sections are completed >.<
